Aeromodelling is one of the fascinating hobbies that I love. In fact, I should say that I am addicted to this hobby. I am more of a model builder than a flyer and I have built and flow a number of aeromodels. I do not believe in buying and flying a model. Further, I am not a very rich guy to buy all the models that I like. I came across the concept of SPADs sometime in 2003 and from then on I am hooked to it. For more information on SPADs visit spadtothebone.com. All my aircrafts are made out of coro sheets and they perform equally well to that of Balsa (wood) airplanes. You can find some of my work on SPAD aircrafts on the above links. The real spirit of aeromodelling is to design your own aircraft, build it, and fly it. The true satisfaction cannot be expressed in words when you see your own scratch built aircraft takes to the sky. Further, there is an added punch when you see your design perform equally well to that of an ARF. Recently, I also got interested in pulsejet engines and gas turbines. I have made a couple of pulsejets and made them working. I should say that its easy to make a pulsejet but it is very difficult to start the jet without appropriate tools. I learnt it the hard way... You can find my work on pulsejets on the above links. Aeromodelling is truly an amazing hobby and my love for it will never cease!! Check out my other hobby activities from my homepage
